The 2025 JUNO Awards concluded in Vancouver yesterday (March 30), shining a spotlight on the exceptional talent within the Canadian music industry. The event was a celebration of the creativity and hard work of musicians from across the country.
This year, four incredibly talented artists/groups from British Columbia took home the prestigious trophies, marking another significant achievement for B.C. on the national stage. Here are the B.C. winners from the 2025 ceremony:

Vancouver-based independent artist bbno$ (pronounced “baby no money”) is rapidly becoming a globally recognized name. Fresh off the success of multiple chart-topping hits, an international tour, and a rapidly growing social media presence, he continues to make waves in the music world.

Snotty Nose Rez Kids
This electrifying hip hop duo, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, from Kitimat, B.C. is known for their high-energy, electrifying live performances. In 2024 alone, they played over 70 shows in Canada and internationally, and performed at major sporting events.

Anciients
Vancouver metal quartet Anciients was founded by vocalist and guitarist Kenny Cook, guitarists Brock MacInnes and Chris Dyck, bassist Aaron “Boon” Gustafson, and drummer Mike Hannay. They recorded their second album, VOICE OF THE VOID, WHICH won the Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year at the 2018 Juno Awards. This year’s award marks the second time Anciients has won a Juno in this category, joining Voivod as the only other repeat winners.

AP Dhillon
AP Dhillon is a B.C.-based rapper, singer, and record producer. Five of his singles have peaked on the Official Charts Company UK Asian and Punjabi charts, while “Majhail” and “Brown Munde” have topped the Billboard charts.
