Atomic Cartoons produces high-end content across multiple pipelines and genres, spanning pre-school, comedy, action adventure, adult and everything in-between. Two of their recent projects have been nominated for NAACP Image AwardsYOUNG LOVE (MAX/Sony) has been nominated for the Outstanding Animated Series award and SPIDEY AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS (Marvel Studios) is also up for the Outstanding Animated Series accolades.

The animated series YOUNG LOVE expands on the family introduced in the Academy Award-winning short film, HAIR LOVE. Filled with comedy and heart, YOUNG LOVE is an honest look into the world of the Young family – including millennial parents Stephen and Angela, their daughter Zuri and her pet cat Rocky – as they juggle their careers, marriage, parenthood, social issues, and multi-generational dynamics all while striving to make a better life for themselves.

SPIDEY AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS follows Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, and Miles Morales and their adventures as the young heroes team up with Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Black Panther to defeat foes like Rhino, Doc Ock, and Green Goblin and learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day. The series’ voice cast includes Benjamin Valic as Peter Parker, Lily Sanfelippo as Gwen Stacy, and Jakari Fraser as Miles Morales.

The NAACP Image Awards is an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to honor outstanding performances in film, television, theatre, music, and literature.
