Filmed in Agassiz, B.C., this heartwarming holiday movie stars interior designer Hailey (Taylor Cole) who sets out to surprise her mother Patricia (Jacqueline Ann Steuart) with an unexpected gift related to the extended family for which she has long yearned. The film beautifully captures the charm of the region, with stunning scenes shot in and around the picturesque Harrison Hot Springs. A cynical journalist, Tom (Dermot Mulroney) decides to take a train from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles for Christmas to get inspiration for a story in honor of his late father. He gets to know the other passengers and runs into an old flame while aboard. Keep an eye out for the scene where the train’s first stop features both the interior and exterior of Pacific Central Station in Vancouver, B.C. The lead characters also share a dance beneath the glass-domed entrance of the Pacific Centre Mall, also located in Vancouver.

Nick (Jesse Metcalfe) loses his high finance job right before Christmas. Lost, he takes a gig at a tree lot where he meets Julie (Autumn Reeser) and her son, Matt (Anthony Bolognese). Julie is dealing with the recent death of her father which has caused significant changes for her. Shot in Vancouver, the film captures the city’s festive atmosphere, with stunning winter landscapes and cozy, seasonal settings.
