Here’s a roundup of music events happening across B.C. in June.
June 7, Yellowhouse Art Centre’s Concert: Featuring Kate Wyatt, Galiano Island
Yellowhouse Art Centre will host acclaimed pianist and composer, Kate Wyatt, and her jazz trio, performing music from their highly anticipated new album, “Murmurations”. They will deliver a dynamic performance, showcasing their layered musicianship and sharing the inspirations behind the compositions.
June 7-8, Public Disco Block Party, Granville Island
Presented by 2 Hoots Hard Iced Tea, this two-day open-air event on Granville Island kicks off the season with a vibrant celebration of music and culture. Saturday’s lineup explores the evolution of disco into house, garage, and beyond. On Sunday, Brendocha highlights Latinx talent with a thoughtfully curated mix of DJs, gogo dancers, and more.

June 12-14, 5X Fest, Vancouver
Metro Vancouver’s premier festival of Panjabi music, returns with a high-energy celebration marking 20 years of the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration. This year’s lineup includes Talwiinder in his debut B.C. performance, a showcase set by the iconic Gminxr, G. Sidhu’s first-ever 5X appearance, rising local star Sahil Cheema, and more.

5X Festival
June 13-15, Cowichan Valley Bluegrass Music Festival, Vancouver Island
Known for its welcoming, all-ages, family-friendly atmosphere, this year’s event features an impressive lineup of B.C. artists, including Murfitt and Main, Black Rabbit Rounders, Bagatelle, Paul Silveria, and many more.
June 18-22, Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival, Victoria
This year’s edition will mark a bold expansion in the festival’s musical scope, featuring Propagandhi as its first true punk headliner. The festival will continue to stay true to its ska and reggae roots — presenting a dynamic mix of established artists and rising talent from around the world.
June 20-21, Tsideldel Movable Feast, Chilanko Forks
The festival will showcase a diverse lineup of Indigenous artists. Headlining the event are AYSANABEE, a two-time 2024 JUNO Award winner known for his powerful vocals and multi-instrumental performances, and SEBASTIAN GASKIN, a 2025 JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
June 20 – July 1, Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Vancouver
The festival will bring together jazz lovers for a vibrant mix of free outdoor concerts, ticketed shows, and innovative programming. On June 21–22, the Vancouver Art Gallery plaza becomes a lively hub, featuring two stages with Amphibioux, Feven Kidane Sextet, Hanging Hearts, and more.

June 26-29, Tofino Jazz Festival, Vancouver Island
More than just a music event, the festival celebrates cultural diversity and supports the next generation of music talent by introducing youth to jazz and giving them early professional performance opportunities. This year’s lineup features standout artists from across British Columbia, including local favourites like The Phigs, The Halibut Cowboys, Five Alarm Funk.
